PRODUCTION AREA: San Casciano dei Bagni, Siena, Toscana. Cantine Ravazzi Vineyards

GRAPE VARIETY: Sangiovese 85% Canaiolo 10% Ciliegiolo 5% YEALD: Grapes yeald of 9 tones per hectare

HARVEST: Hand picking in crates. Grapes Selection on the vine

VINIFICATION: Fermentation in wood tanks at controlled temperature with selected yeats. Maceration post fermentation of 5 gg

AGEING: 24 months in French oak barrels. Bottle ageing of 3 month

PRODUCTION: 9.000 bordeaux bottles

ANALYSYS: alcohol 13%, tot. ac. 5,10 g/l

COLOR: dark ruby red slightly garnet on the rim.

AROMA: complex, with spicy components and hints of riped red fruit, cherry,
violet with prevalence of toasted notes.

TASTE: powerful wine with a good structure. Dry sapid, warm, with elegant tannins of the barrel ageing

MATCHING DISHES: roasted meat, game and aged cheeses.

WAY OF SERVING: Serve at 16-18°C in crystal balloon shaped wine goblets.

HOME AGEING: Keep the bottles lying down in a cool dark place.
