PRODUCTION AREA: San Casciano dei Bagni, Siena, Toscana. Cantine Ravazzi Ciaccioni Vineyards

GRAPE VARIETY: Sangiovese 100%

YIELD: Grapes yield of 6 tons per hectare

HARVEST: Hand picking in crates. Grapes Selection on the vine.

VINIFICATION: Fermentation in wood tanks at controlled temperature with selected yeasts.
Maceration post fermentation of 7/10 days

AGEING: 12 months in wood tanks-barrels, 6 months in barriques and bottle ageing of 6 months.

PRODUCTION: 8.000 bordeaux bottles

ANALYSIS: alcohol: 13,5%, tot.ac. 5,30

COLOUR: Dark ruby red slightly garnet on the rim.

AROMA: Deep perfumes of Morello cherry and cherry with hints of violet, plum and spices notes.

TASTE: Full, complex and harmonious; suitably tannic.

SERVE WITH: Very versatile, it can be served during the whole meal: from pasta with meat
sauce to the roast noble meats and aged cheeses.

WAY OF SERVING: Serve at 16-18°C in crystal balloon shaped wine goblets.

HOME AGEING: Keep the bottles lying down in a cool dark place.
